The 2nd strip of the series: "Daddies Aren't Supposed To Die!" The Chevra Kadisha is a sacred burial society made up of volunteers. They perform the ritual washing of the body known as taharah, and dress the body in the traditional shroud known as tachrichim. Membership in a Chevra Kadisha is considered a very high honor.
